TivaCloud, Inc. (https://tivacloud.com) is excited to announce the launch of their new onboarding solution, which simplifies the recruiting and hiring process for motor carriers. This new tool is the latest addition to the TivaCloud online DOT compliance platform.
According to recent statistics from the American Trucking Association, the trucking industry currently needs to hire 47,500 drivers to meet the demands of the industry. This number is expected to grow, as the demand for freight delivery and shipping will continue to increase along with the U.S. population. With this latest feature rollout, TivaCloud, a Houston-based company, wants to make it easier for motor carriers to hire the best candidates for not just truck driver openings, but for all positions within their organization.
Potential candidates can apply directly through an online public job board, which is included in all TivaCloud subscriptions. This public job board shows all available job listings in your organization, and submitted resumes get ported right into the applicant tracking system within TivaCloud.
TivaCloud’s onboarding solution allows their customers to create custom onboarding programs compiled with tasks for candidates to complete. These tasks can range from applications, background reports, certifications, and even training documents. Within their TivaCloud account, customers can track where job candidates are in their onboarding programs.
TivaCloud is currently working on growing their onboarding features in the coming months. Future rollouts will include e-applications, where customers can easily create 100% customized online forms for new hires to complete as part of their hiring process. As forms are completed, they are automatically stored with the candidate’s profile as they move through the onboarding process and become an employee.
